I’m a wife, mom, and full-time nurse who somehow finds joy (and sanity) in creating things with my hands – wether it’s baking sourdough bread, sewing something special, or stirring a pot of homemade jam. My husband is my rock, my taste-tester, and my biggest supporter, and our kiddos keep us on our toes as they venture on to life outside of our home. Add in our beloved pets – who provide equal parts chaos and cuddles – and life around here is rarely boring.
The name Oak Hollow Hearth and Home comes from my love of simple living and the feeling of gathering around the hearth – a place where warmth, family, and memories are made. It’s the heart of our home, and this blog is an extension of that: a space to share not just what we’re making, but how we’re living.
