Here at Oak Hollow Hearth and Home, we’re all about celebrating the little things that make life feel warm, cozy, and meaningful. For me, one of the best ways to create that feeling has always been through food—especially cookies! There’s something magical about the smell of butter and sugar wafting through the house, the sound of laughter around the kitchen table, and the joy of sharing a sweet treat with someone you love.
What started as a simple love of baking has grown into something I never imagined when I first turned on my oven back in 2018. That was the year Beth’s Cookie Creations was born. Specializing in royal icing decorated sugar cookies.
At the time, I was a full-time nurse, wife, and mom, baking mostly for fun—whipping up cookies for family, friends, and the occasional school or church event. But as more and more people started requesting my cookies for their own celebrations, I decided to take the leap and open my own cottage baking business right here in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Over the years, Beth’s Cookie Creations has grown right alongside my family. I’ve experimented with new flavors, learned the ins and outs of running a small business, and shared countless batches of cookies with our amazing community. From soft, stuffed cookies bursting with flavor to classic drop cookies and DIY cookie kits that bring families together, each treat is made with care and a whole lot of love. I also like to mix things up with homemade jams, seasonal goodies, and custom designs for special events.
One of my favorite things about this journey has been seeing how cookies and other baked goods bring people together. Whether it’s a child decorating a DIY cookie kit, a couple sharing a special treat on date night, or a table full of friends enjoying dessert, it’s a reminder that sometimes the simplest things can bring the greatest joy.
This year, Beth’s Cookie Creations stepped into something new and exciting: our very first farmers market! We were at Tractor Supply in Lincoln on Saturday, September 13th, sharing cookies with our community. It feels like a full-circle moment—from baking in my home kitchen to setting up a table at a local event.
Beth’s Cookie Creations has been a labor of love since 2018, and I’m so grateful for the support I’ve received along the way. Whether you’ve been here from the beginning or you’re just learning about my business now, thank you for being part of this delicious adventure.
